Hi! I’m Kristina, the owner and maker behind Prairie Coast Candle Co. I decided to start making candles after attending various candle pouring events. After the first event I attended, I knew I was hooked. I had no idea how therapeutic candle making could be! 

I enjoyed it so much, that I decided to start my own business, so I can share my love for the craft with my community. I have always wanted to start my own business, and I am so excited to finally be here and to be able to share it with you! I’m deeply passionate about creating products that not only fill your home with captivating scents, but also prioritize your health and well-being. Prairie Coast Candles are always non-toxic, phthalate free, and made with coconut soy wax. 

Ultimately, my idea to start Prairie Coast stems from a passion for expression, sharing knowledge, and the drive to turn creativity into a sustainable endeavor. I look forward to building this community with you, and I thank you for being here!

After years of running my fashion truck and online shop, I’ve decided to sell my business and close this chapter to focus on new adventures. This wasn’t an easy decision—*hello ruby* has been such a huge part of my life, and I’ll forever cherish the memories, the amazing customers, and the connections I made. 💖

I’ll be focusing on growing *A Local Collective*, curating vendors for Midtown Crossing, and continuing my rebranded podcast, *Behind the Business*. This next chapter is all about supporting small businesses and building community—and I couldn’t be more excited!
